Delivering federally and provincially funded programs for job seekers, employers and newcomers to Canada, the Y plays an important role in our community.

22,500  People benefited from Y Employment, Enterprise and Newcomer services
13,500  Job seekers participated in Y employment programs
400       Employers received support with their human resources needs

The Y Employment Access Centres offer services at two locations; Argyle Avenue in the downtown area and on Merivale Road in the west end. We are open to all. Our Argyle location has a focus on newcomers and immigrants and there is access to an on- site settlement worker at both locations . Merivale also offers an on- site language assessment worker.
